Well, I’ve got another comic book to tell you guys about. I just finished reading Runaways #26, part two of the new post-civil war story arc following the adventures of our favourite superhero kids. Well, it looks like the past of the pride is still following them around even though Brian K. Vaughan is no longer at the helm of his baby it’s in very very good hands with Joss. So far we’ve seen ninjas, a freaky stone angel looking thing, the Kingpin, and Frank Castle getting his ass handed to him by a 12 year old little girl!

I really can’t go on enough about this book so I’m just going to tell you guys to go out and buy issues #25 and #26.

I’ve been talking with a few different friends lately about why I love comics so much. It all started close to 21 years ago when I was first introduced to comics in the form of G. I. Joe #42 that I got as a Christmas present from my father, and my journey into comics has proceeded from that point till today. Most of my friends who are into comics tell me stories about how they got into comics via the superhero genre and it seems that most of the comic industry is dominated by that same genre, I have come to view myself as an anomaly in that I was brought into comics by a non-superhero book. Since then I have grown to love superheroes, but my heart is still drawn to other styles also. So right now I am going to present my Top 10 list of non-superhero books that I currently love.
